  • Who teaches these classes?

    All of these classes are taught by Joshua Kahr. He has 25+ years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, taught real estate finance and real estate capital markets at Columbia University's MS in Real Estate program for over 15 years, and has owned and managed over 1,000 apartment units for his own account. He has also taught live training classes on real estate finance and Excel modeling for analysts and associates at leading real estate private equity and investment companies.

  • What's the catch with the "Everything" bundle? It seems like a deal.

    It is. You'll get access to everything we offer and will offer in the coming 12 months. For most people, it's the best choice. You'll save money and get access to all of the classes.

  • Which course should I take first?

    Everyone could benefit from the "Real Estate Investment Analysis" course. Beginners should take the "Time Value of Money" course first. The "Partnerships" and "Development" courses are the next step. The "Advanced Modeling," "What If Tools," "Kahr's Challenge Cases," and "Build a Financial Model" courses are Excel-heavy classes for people who want to fine-tune their modeling skills.

  • What courses are you planning for the future?

    For 2025, we're going to release another set of Challenge Cases. We're also working on a debt modeling class and a fund raising class. If you want to suggest a course, email us at [email protected].

  • Are the courses regularly updated?

    Yes. We receive continuous feedback from our students, and we're always monitoring where students get stuck in the material. When you buy a course, you'll always receive up to date information, tools, and techniques.

  • Do you offer discounted rates if we buy a bunch of licenses and/or we're a not-for-profit or government entity?
